Kimberly Reed, High School QB Transitioned to Lesbian Filmmaker, Interviewed on Oprah

I initially wrote about Kimberly Reed, the golden-boy, valedictorian, high school quarterback who became a lesbian filmmaker, back in mid January. Her story, and the transition from being Paul McKerrow, was so fascinating that it landed her a segment on the Oprah Winfrey Show last Thursday, February 11.
I’m hoping the publicity leads to a strong release of her own documentary of her story, Prodigal Sons, which debuts in select cities starting late February and stretching into March Check the films website for city dates and details.
I’ve held off until now to post about the interview with Oprah, because I was hoping for a full segment of the interview to surface on the Internet. No such luck. Below is the best I could find. The numbering on the segments is incorrect—numbers 2 and 3 are duplicates—and the ending to the interview is missing. If anyone knows a way to watch the end to the interview, please share.
Part 1 (Segment 1) – 10:51
Part 2 (Segment 4) – 8:00
Part 3 (Segment 5) – 8:00

Thanks for posting this – I did try to find a full ep, but I think Oprah’s website much cycle them out. I will keep looking as it looks like a great interview. How awesome are the people of her hometown and her old teammates for being so cool? WOW. I will go the cinema the second this comes out. Great article as usual.
